Below is a fans opinion of the whole story..
"Truth be told, even though, i dont support Olamide's immature actions, i would still say i love the way he spoke out. In all fairness, lil kesh deserved that award and not Reekado Bank. Naturally, i cant see reekados 'katapot' defeating Lil Kesh's 'shoki' or defeating Lil kesh 'Efejoku' at anywhere, anytime or even Gbese. I have played shoki and efejoku more times than i can ever remember and have had at least more than 10 requests on these songs on every single event i played. Largely, most of these crazy awards (both nigerian and international) have become more of a political thing than things for rewarding hardwork. Personally, thats why i dont care about most of the awards, most awards Worldwide have been corrupted. Only few awards these days are truly credible."
